Who We Are
We are Vela Llatina Els Peixcadors, a non - profit association founded in the Port of Catarroja on November 14, 2006.
The people who promoted this project had a special interest in preserving the memory, the artisan uses and the traditions of their ancestors, in the daily life around the Albufera.
The Board of Directors is formed by the president Pepe Morellá, the treasurer Jordi Adrian, the secretary Pepe Almarche and the members: Juan Antonio Rosaleñ, Alberto Cuallado, Inmaculada Ortells, Miguel Pascual, Xavi Xavo, and Xusa Chilet.
exhibitions
Every Saturday during the spring and summer, one of the Latin Sailing Associations meets its neighbors at a point on the lake, proposes a route, provides support services and hosts the event.
School
How to set up a boat, how to sail in the wind, when to hunt the log or loosen the sheet. Keeping the memory of the traditional arts of navigation in the Albufera has made our school essential.
Countdown
The Catarroja Fishmongers' exhibitions are held according to a calendar presented each year. In 2019 we will leave our Port on: May 11, June 8 and July 13.

In the Albufera Natural Park, Latin Sailing was proclaimed an “Asset of Intangible Cultural Interest” according to B.O.P. of Valencia on November 15, 2016.
